Overview

Use Initiative Fields to set what fields will be visible in the Initiatives Overview tab.

Click on the Administration module in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
Select Initiative Fields in the Initiatives section.

Initiative Fields



Using Initiative Fields, you can select what fields will be visible throughout the Initiatives module. Once you have given the field a name, assign it a Resource Key. These are prefixed with 'IdeaField_' on save, suitable to be used to unambiguously specify the objects of their API calls. Field Type will determine what kind of the data this field is, e.g. text, number, checkbox, etc. Secondary Fields can also be added - fields to be shown in the ‘Show More’ section of the Idea Overview.


Next, we can set where the Field will appear:

  • Pipeline Field - To be included in Ideas in the pipeline.
  • Required - Weather this fields is mandatory or not.
  • Filterable - Included in report and screen filters.
  • Column Picker - Included in the column picker of the Ideas List.
  • Concept Field - To be included in the Concept Idea.


Secondary Fields can also be added - fields to be shown in the ‘Show More’ section of the Idea Overview.



Lastly, you can prioritize the hierarchy of the Initiative Fields by clicking and dragging the '3-line icon" next to the field Name to reorder the fields.
