Making edits to a Dashboard


Users can also customise their dashboards by adding, removing and editing the content of widgets. To do this, click the Gear ( ) icon at the top-right of your screen. To apply the changes made on a dashboard, simply click the save icon () once changes have been made. To revert any unsaved changes made the user can click on the revert icon (). Unfortunately, once changes have been reverted or saved there is no going back.


Defining layout structure


Once you have selected the Gear icon, you are now able to define your layout structure by clicking the Edit Dashboard (  ) icon.


Adding a Widget


Once you have selected the Gear icon, you can also add a new widget to your dashboard by clicking the Add (  ) icon. You will then be presented with a dialog with the widgets available.


Each widget added can have its’ own unique name, as well as different settings if applicable.



Actions widget:


All actions you are responsible for are listed here. 

These actions can come from:

  1. The user’s RAR
  2. Another user’s RAR
  3. Any idea action plan

Any actions you assign to someone else will therefore also appear on their dashboard. Be sure you are assigning the correct action to the correct person, and that they are fully aligned and will know what the action refers to.


Apart from the widget title, the user can also select the amount of days (before its’ due date) an action that has not been completed show up on the widget. 


Click the “Export” button to export your action list to Excel.


External Link widget:


This section contains external links with information relevant to the progress of an Idea or KPI (Works like a bookmark for a user dashboard).

Apart from the widget title, the user would need to provide a URL (of the link) they would like to see as well as height.


Ideas widget:


Apart from the widget title, the user would need to select which ideas to be shown (Their own ideas, Ideas which they facilitate or Ideas of which they are the owner of the Primary KPI), the user can select which stages they would like to see (This can be single or multiple stages), the user can also select which status they would like to see in this widget (This can also be single or multiple stages).


KPI’s widget:


Apart from the widget title, the user can add the KPI’s they would like to have on the widget. 


Outstanding Approvals widget:


This widget can have a custom title. This will show the user his approvals that are Outstanding.


Pending Approvals widget:


This widget can have a custom title. This will show the user his approvals that are Pending. When you submit an idea form/checklist, the approval request will appear on the stakeholders' dashboard here.


Meetings widget:


This widget can have a custom title. This will show the user all meetings that they have access to for the current day. Note if you are assigned a Role with Meeting Administrator permission you will see all meetings in the system.


RARs widget:


This widget can have a custom title. This will show the user all Latest RARs where he/she is a Reviewer
