Idea definitions can be changed on the system by clicking on Ideas -> Select the Idea then click Approvals > Click on Workflows to change the definition.



After the Idea definition has been changed the Idea will automatically be subjected to the following changes.

  • The Idea will immediately be moved to Evaluating.
  • All previously approved workflows will be cancelled, and the respective Stage dates deleted.

Also, note you can use this functionality to sync an Idea with the details of the current state of the definitions if there were changes to the role(s) or workflow(s) under administration -> Idea definitions -> Workflows.

To refresh the details on an Idea, 

  • Temporarily select a different definition. 
  • then reselect the original definition

The Idea will be updated with the new details in the definition.
