Overview
Configuring role access will determine who can get to what information and perform certain actions in WiredUp.
Setting up Role Access
To Setup Role data access, follow the below steps:
Step 1:
After logging into the platform, navigate to the Administration module in the top ribbon.
Step 2:
This will open the Administration screen. In the System section, click on Roles.
Step 3:
Click the Setup Role Access icon next to the user.
Step 4:
This action will open the Role Access screen. To specify the data access permissions for the role, check the boxes corresponding to each permission.
To include a site in the role's permissions, click the +Add button at the bottom of the current list of sites and select the desired sites from the dropdown menu.
Step 5:
To delete permissions given to a role , you can click the Delete icon as shown below.
