Once an initiative or idea has been approved at a certain stage, the workflow associated with that stage cannot be changed or added. This means that if a new role is added to a workflow associated with an approved stage of an idea, that role will not display. After the Idea or Initiative has been approved, a lock icon will appear next to the name of the definition used.

Changes to a workflow will only reflect on an idea or initiative if it has not been approved. Additionally, the changes will apply if the workflow has not yet been submitted for approval or has not been approved.
