If during the creation of an Idea Cashflow, the Annual Growth rate cannot be set, it may indicate that the selected Cashflow category does not support annual growth calculations.
Currently, the category types that support specifying the Annual Growth are:
- Benefit Categories
- Opex Categories
In this example, a Capex cashflow is created on a new Idea. Generally, Capex cashflows represent one-time costs that do not grow over time. Since this category does not support Annual Growth rate specification, the input section is disabled. The monthly Forecasts, however, are fully editable:
