If you import forecast values with a forecast type different from the one set on the Initiative Forecast page, WiredUp will retain both the initially captured forecast values and the imported values for the initiative. Only when the forecast type in the import file matches the forecast type of the initiative on the Initiative Forecast will the initially captured values be replaced by the import.
For example, if an initiative's forecast type is set as Amount and you import forecast values of the Percentage type, the system will retain both the initially captured forecast amount values and the imported forecast percentage values. You can view these forecast values by switching between the two different forecast types on the initiative's forecast.
Note that during the import, the forecast type of the import file is determined by the import file type selected.
Please note that if the forecast types between the import file and the Initiative Forecast do not match, WiredUp will not recalculate the initially captured forecast values based on the forecast values from the import file. For example, if a forecast amount value of 1000 was initially entered, an import of a forecast percentage value of 10% will not recalculate the initially captured value of 1000, and vice versa.
