Overview

WiredUp allows you to move meeting occurrences by dragging and dropping a meeting occurrence to the desired future date. These are the following considerations to note:

If there is any other occurrence of that meeting scheduled between the original date and your target date (inclusive) WiredUp will prevent the meeting occurrence to be moved to prevent overlapping meeting instances.

The following error is displayed when moving a meeting instance is not allowed:

Example

  • You have a recurring meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • You attempt to move the Tuesday instance to Friday.
  • WiredUp checks for occurrences from Tuesday through Friday and finds meetings on Wednesday and Thursday, so it disallows the move.
  • In contrast, moving the Thursday meeting occurrence to Friday succeeds since there are no meetings scheduled between Thursday and Friday.

By ensuring no existing occurrences fall between your original and target dates, you can reschedule individual meeting occurrences without encountering overlap errors.
