A recent system update (version 2.11.4) has fixed an issue with monthly meeting scheduling where meetings scheduled for a specific week would incorrectly begin in the following month instead of the correct month. This FAQ explains how this fix affects existing and future meeting series in WiredUp.
What was the issue with monthly meeting scheduling?
Previously, when users scheduled monthly meetings for a specific week, the system would sometimes incorrectly start the meeting series in the following month instead of the intended month. This caused confusion and scheduling errors for recurring monthly meetings.
What has been fixed?
The system now correctly schedules monthly meetings to start in the intended month based on the specified week and day settings. When you create a monthly meeting for a specific week, it will now begin in the correct month as expected.
When was this fix implemented?
This fix was implemented in WiredUp version 2.11.4.
Does this fix apply to my existing meeting series?
No, this fix only applies to meeting series created from version 2.11.4 onwards. Existing meeting series that were created before this version will not be automatically corrected by this fix.
Why don't existing meetings get fixed automatically?
Due to the technical nature of the fix and to preserve the integrity of historical meeting data, the correction can only be applied to new meeting series created after the system update. Retroactively changing existing meeting schedules could affect meeting history, attendance records, and other associated data.
Will future meetings I create be affected by this issue?
No. All new meeting series created from version 2.11.4 onwards will use the corrected scheduling logic and will start in the correct month based on your occurrence settings.
How can I verify my meeting schedule is correct?
After creating a monthly meeting series, you can:
- Navigate to the Meetings module
- View your meeting series in Schedule view or Card view
- Check that the first meeting instance appears in the intended month
- Review subsequent meeting instances to ensure they follow the correct monthly pattern
What if I still experience scheduling issues with new meetings?
If you create a new meeting series (after version 2.11.4) and still experience incorrect scheduling, please contact the WiredUp Support Team with details about:
- The meeting series settings (occurrence pattern, week, day)
- The expected start date
- The actual start date shown in the system
