On the current system delegate functionality only works on Approval responsibilities, this was developed to ensure that the Pipeline is not delayed due to a user/ stakeholder who is on leave. However, on the new system, you are also able to delegate RARs during the period you are not around. 

Adding a delegate is an administration functionality, this is located on Administration > Users > click on the users who need to delegate his/her responsibilities and Add a delegate under the Delegations sections as displayed below.

Click on the Add button, select the delegate and specify when the delegation should be active by specifying the Start and End date, once a user has been Added they will then be able to receive approval notifications when an Approval request is sent this is only during the period specified and they will also be able to approve on the Stakeholder's behalf.

On the new system, they will also see RARs of the delegator which will enable them to manage it during the specified period.

On the new system, you are able to delegate RARs and Approvals, whereas on the current system you are only allowed to delegate approval responsibilities
