Overview

The WiredUp Emissions Management module extends the core Initiative Management features by adding capabilities for planning and executing an enterprise-wide decarbonisation program.

Companies can enter/import fuel and electricity consumption data, plan up to 5 scenarios and convert to tCO2-e via the included Emissions factors.

Forecast, Impact and Marginal Abatement Cost Curve charts are available for analysing the impact and success of your abatement program.

If you do not have the Emissions module in your account, please contact [email protected].

Emission factors

The built-in emission factor feature allows location-specific factors to be entered or imported for accurate conversion of fuel and electricity types to tCO2-e.

Scenario Planning

Scenario planning allows the entering/importing of base case data to set the baseline for actuals and forecasted fuel/electricity consumption. This can then be extended by creating up to four additional scenarios for planned/forecasted consumption, to plan for up to four potential futures. Scenarios are independent of each other and can be tracked/managed separately.

Emissions forecast chart

The forecast chart visualises historical and forecasted emissions for your base case and each of the scenarios. Data can be displayed by Region, Country or Site and includes global and site targets.

Initiative Impact chart

The initiative impact chart enables companies to select from a list of initiatives and visualise the emissions reduction (impact) on a scenario. Adding multiple initiatives helps decide which initiatives will have the biggest impact on a scenario over time.

Marginal Abatement Cost Curve (MACC) chart

The MACC chart plots the abatement potential and marginal cost of Emissions initiatives to easily identify those initiatives that will deliver the biggest tCO2-e abatement at the lowest cost. This can be used to prioritise initiatives for execution.
